About the OJC
The Office for Judicial Complaints (OJC) supports the Lord Chancellor and the Lord Chief Justice in their joint responsibility for the system of judicial complaints and discipline. We seek to ensure that all judicial disciplinary issues are dealt with consistently, fairly and efficiently.
The OJC is an associated office of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). Its status, governance and operational objectives are set out in a Memorandum of Understanding between the DCA, the Judicial Office for England and Wales and the OJC.
Any complaints about the OJC should be sent to the Judicial Appointments and Conduct Ombudsman.
